About D.C. White and Co.

Derek White started the company in 1968 with just one unit at the rear of the shops in Hoe Street.

In 1973 the business and premises were sold to Barry Stuart who kept the business name, he slowly expanded taking over all the units, each housing a different department of repair from strip and fit, panel repair, painting and valeting. He still owns the premises to this day, although the business has changed hands a couple of times.

It is now a family run business, owned by Steve & Vera Walters.Brother Martin manages the day to day running of the workshops, daughter Linda is in charge of administration and son Adam is part of the repair team in the workshop.

Although the business has changed hands it has retained some long standing clients in Higgins Construction, Mulalley & Co Ltd and Woodford Heating and many more which is testament to the quality of repair these clients receive

In 2012 we gained the British Kitemark Standard, PAS125 which means we have quality control management in place which is audited every year
